We are the Rattray Translational Pharmaceutics Lab
We are an interdisciplinary lab developing next-generation life saving medicines. Our mission is to facilitate the bench to bedside translation of antibody, peptide, oligonucleotide and bioinspired drugs by implementing advanced bioanalytical pipelines and drug delivery solutions.
The Rattray Translational Pharmaceutics lab was founded in September 2018 at the University of Strathclyde, Institute of Pharmacy and Biomedical Sciences by Dr Zahra Rattray. Click on each photo under our 'meet the team' page to learn more about our lab members!

What are we researching?
Lab news in images
We are interested in understanding the biomolecular basis of disease, in particular cancer, and how we can develop new and better medicines to deliver new life-saving treatments.
Nature offers a diverse toolbox for us to study in this quest. We engineer antibody-based drugs and formulate peptide, oligonucleotide and nanomedicines. Our lab hosts the EPSRC-funded multiscale metrology suite for next-generation health nanotechnologies, a national facility for advanced analysis of bionanomaterials.
